Today, we went to Viareggo for the Carnival parade. It was quite the experience! There were wonderful floats with vibrant colors, not to mention the people on them. We walked on the street where the parade was going to be held, and we stuck out like sore thumbs. Everyone was wearing masks and costumes, and a few people dressed up in jeans and T-shirts were very opposite. We found a nice shop where we bought some sequined masks and velvet capes, and we were ready for the celebration!
